Oil And Acrylic
Pablo Rubén
Watercolour, his great passion
Pablo Rubén (Madrid, 1978) has always painted since he was Little kid and although he started with oil and acrylic, as soon as he discovered watercolour he found his great passion. He has learned from great artists, masters and Escoda collaborators such as Álvaro Castagnet and Joseph Zbukvic. In addition, now, he also exercises his love for watercolour as a teacher, giving masterclasses and workshops around the world.
International recognition
The artist has more than 500 national and international painting prizes, especially for Plen Air watercolour contests, as well as several participations in worldwide exhibitions, both collectively and individually, in Madrid, Barcelona, Florence, New York, Moscow, Prague and Hong Kong, among others. He is also a published author with editorial Anaya Touring with several travel watercolours and one watercolour course book. Pablo Rubén is very active on Instagram (@pabloruben_watercolors) where he has more than 50,000 followers.
"I have been using brushes from Escoda since my first brushstrokes when I was just a child and I still have some of those brushes."
A long relationship between Escoda and Pablo Rubén:
“I have been using brushes from Escoda since my first brushstrokes when I was just a child and I still have some of those brushes. The excellent quality of their materials makes them a highly durable tool as well as being extremely precise brushes for each type of stroke that I need to apply in my watercolours.”
